Snapshot governance, community voice, and responsible stewardship for ROBO.
Today we are launching the first phase of ROBO Governance. This is the foundation for how the ROBO community will help shape the direction of the protocol. Phase 1 introduces a dedicated governance space on Snapshot and establishes a Foundation Security Council to steward every outcome. It marks the start of a long-term commitment to building ROBO together with its community.

A real voice for the community

ROBO Governance begins on Snapshot, the leading platform for community governance in the space. Snapshot lets token holders take part directly, with gasless voting weighted by ROBO holdings. From day one, the community has a clear and transparent channel to express its views, set priorities, and help guide the project. Proposals, votes, and decisions are recorded publicly, so the process is open to everyone.

This is where the community shapes the culture and identity of ROBO. Phase 1 puts branding, community and culture, and temperature checks directly in the hands of token holders. These are the decisions that define what ROBO stands for, and the community leads on them.

The Foundation Security Council

The Foundation Security Council is the body that carries community input forward and ensures it is acted on responsibly. The Council reviews every Snapshot outcome, champions proposals that align with the Fabric white paper and project ethos, and protects the integrity of the process. It is the bridge between community signal and real action.

The proposed founding members are Jerry Huang, Founder of the Silicon Valley Center of Robotics; Shivani Phull, Director at HashPoint Advisory, and Clara Cheng, Business Lead at Thrive Horizon Ltd.

The Council also safeguards the community against vote buying, sybil activity, concentration of voting power, and other governance attacks, so that participation stays fair and every voice counts.

How it works

Taking part is simple. A standard Snapshot vote runs for five days. Proposals move through a clear, transparent lifecycle: temperature check → Request for Comment → Snapshot vote → Council review → published decision. Every step is open, and outcomes are recorded for all to see.

Built to grow

ROBO Governance is designed to expand as the community grows. Future phases will open more categories to community decision-making and introduce community-held Council seats, broadening participation over time. Phase 1 is the first step on a deliberate path toward a community that increasingly shapes the protocol it believes in.

Take part

The first proposal is the ROBO Governance Phase 1 Temperature Check. Visit the official ROBO Snapshot space to review proposals and cast your vote. This is your chance to help shape ROBO from the very beginning.
